Propane Generators

Propane Powered Generators and Back Up Power Systems

Propane is the preferred fuel in remote areas. Most rural farms will use propane to power their equipment and homes. Propane is also a preferred fuel for back-up power systems and can connect with an existing gas line or be stored in a separate tank. When running generators on propane there is generally a conversion kit necessary, and there becomes a discounted power supply. Generally the rule is to discount the power from gasoline 10% if you are switching to propane.
